I'm not certain if it's still valid, but there was an offer at one time to get the Bedrock edition for free if you owned the Java edition of Minecraft. The best way to find out if you have it available is to log into your Mojang.com account and see if it's available.

I saw this offer was valid until 2018, but don't know if they've changed it or not.

You might need to purchase it again.

Hi there,

If you have Xbox Game Pass, or Game Pass Ultimate, you can play the console version as it's in the Game Pass library.

Depending on the version you have purchased, there are/were free upgrades to another version available for a limited time. I don't know if that includes PC to Xbox. This site had more info.

No im sorry to say. Youll have to buy it on xbox. If you have game pass you can get it for nothing.

I used the code it gave me and i used it on the right email (my xbox acount email) but it didnt give me the game and i cant download it for free despite the code going through now when i try to re-use the code again because it didnt work the first time it says code already redeemed to my email but i stilldont have the game. I am currently playing it of the game pass but i expires soon

Unfortunately not right now, there was a decent offer on a while back but you will have to buy it for Xbox (unless you have game pass)
